Digital Machinist, a quarterly publication, strives to be the greatest source of information and ideas for the CNC user. This publication provides digital machining projects ranging from one-off hobby items to small production runs of cottage industry. (Digital machining is defined as: use of robotic devices, power drives, electronic positioning systems, tool control, and optical input devices.)
Digital Machinist magazine was founded in 2006 following the amazing success of an all CNC, digital machining Special Issue presented by parent magazine The Home Shop Machinist. Each issue includes articles on the basics of programming G-code, various CNC hobby projects, CNC retrofits, robotics, CNC techniques, and much, much more.
